The project focused on embodiment as an innovative approach in non-formal education, working with bodily awareness, emotions, and lived experience. Participants explored how connecting body and mind can foster creativity, inclusion, self-reflection, and active citizenship among young people. The programme responded to the challenges of today’s fast-paced and highly digitalised world, in which many young people experience stress, disconnection from themselves, and difficulties in understanding their own emotions and needs.
During the project, participants tried out somatic exercises, movement-based activities, and other experiential methods grounded in the principles of non-formal learning. Goosebumps offered practical tools that help people reconnect with themselves, build resilience, and strengthen a sense of personal competence. At the same time, it showed that working with the body can be a gentle yet powerful tool for change – and that non-verbal and inclusive forms of learning can be accessible to diverse target groups.
