Anyone who wants to coach and support others effectively must first understand themselves. This idea was at the heart of Grow: Coaching for Educators, a week-long training course focused on self-awareness, coaching skills, and learning how to better support others in their personal and professional development. The course was the second phase of a project whose first mobility took place in Italy in March. In Georgia, participants built on the personal work they had already begun and deepened the knowledge and skills they had gained during the first training.

More than forty participants from seventeen countries across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East used non-formal education methods to explore self-awareness, emotions, and the fundamentals of coaching approaches.

The second phase of the Exploring Gender Identity Through Art project followed up on the August gathering and guided participants from personal reflection into hands-on artistic creation. A group of 27 young people and youth workers reunited in Comarruga, Spain, to explore new ways of talking about gender, this time through art, movement, color, touch, and storytelling. The goal wasn’t to produce a professional exhibition, but to use the creative process to explore themes that are both personal and political, sensitive and universal.

How can we talk about sustainability without moral pressure or information overload? How can we bring the topic into the everyday lives of young people and show them that change is not only possible, but can actually be creative and fun? These were the questions at the heart of the Green Skills for Future training course, led by trainers Linda Phanová and Velizara Koleva in Comarruga, Spain. Over the course of one week, a group of 40 youth workers and young people from 13 countries explored topics such as circular economy, fast fashion, greenwashing, conscious consumer choices, and the future of green jobs. The course emphasized authenticity, simplicity, and concrete experiences that have a greater impact than any theoretical lecture.

How do you become a digital hero? It may sound like science fiction, but we took the challenge seriously – though with a healthy dose of playfulness. The first phase of Cyber Heroes 2.0 offered a week where cybersecurity was explored in an engaging, hands-on, and international way. In the beautiful setting of Kubasův mlýn near Ústí nad Orlicí, young people from five countries gathered to dive into the worlds of fake news, phishing, manipulation – as well as resilience and critical thinking.
